- On 29 July, Viking said it expected VK2735 maintenance dosing data during the third quarter of 2026.
- On 22 September, the company reported a study of approximately 180 adults, with 21 weeks of weekly induction followed by 12 weeks of maintenance dosing.
- The company reported mean retention of Week-21 weight loss at Week 33 of 90% for combined every-other-week dosing (n=37), 85% for combined monthly dosing (n=65 efficacy population), and 61% for placebo maintenance (n=27). These percentages describe retained weight loss, not the share of people who responded.
