Terms of Service

1. The service

ORION Biotech Intelligence ("ORION," "we," "us") is a research-support web application that organizes and analyzes publicly available clinical, regulatory, and market data (ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA public disclosures, market data from Financial Modeling Prep and Yahoo Finance, SEC EDGAR) into source-linked evidence records and AI-generated narrative reports. ORION does not produce investment scores, rankings, buy/sell recommendations, price targets, or expected-return forecasts. By using ORION, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account and any API keys you generate.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Live self-serve billing is not currently available while Toss merchant review and production validation remain incomplete. When live billing is activated, eligible Starter subscriptions will be billed through Toss Payments on the interval shown at checkout using a card billing key registered during the authorized checkout flow. Analyst is Coming Soon and is not currently offered for purchase. Existing paid subscribers, if any, can view server-recorded plan state and request cancellation of future renewal through the Account and billing page. Research Desk and Enterprise are future, inquiry-led programs and are not self-serve checkout offerings.

The Pricing page is the authoritative, current source for these figures; they are summarized here for reference:

• Starter - $29 / month, billed monthly when live checkout becomes available
• Analyst - Coming Soon; planned price $149 / month, not currently for sale
• Research Desk - Future Vision; inquiry only, with no public self-serve price
• Enterprise - Future Vision; inquiry only, with no published price

Refunds

If you request a refund within 7 days of your first use of a paid tier, you receive a full refund of that payment.

If you request a refund after 7 days, the refund amount is calculated as:

Approved refunds are paid within 3 business days of the request. A refund request is never denied solely because the service was used at least once, ORION does not impose a minimum mandatory usage period beyond the period already paid for, and a refund is never recalculated back up to a non-discounted list price as a condition of approval.

One-time BD research pilot

The CRO BD Research Pilot is a $500 USD one-time service. Its scope, total price, 14-day delivery and cancellation/refund policy are published in Services, Delivery & Refunds. CRO Margin Protection is a separate working prototype seeking design partners and is not currently sold as a SaaS product. Existing separately agreed engagements retain their written terms. The BD pilot-specific terms apply to BD pilot purchases; the subscription refund calculation above applies to subscriptions.

Mail-order sales registration is not yet filed. A public business telephone is being prepared. Paid checkout remains unavailable; written support is available at orion.biotech.ai@gmail.com.

4. Not investment advice

ORION is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner in any jurisdiction, does not execute trades, and does not have custody of your funds or securities. Nothing ORION generates — including source-linked evidence summaries and deterministic factual calculations — is a recommendation to buy or sell any specific security.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to circumvent tier limits, rate limits, or authentication.
• Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute ORION's report output or API responses as your own product without a separate agreement.
• Don't use ORION to generate content used to defraud, manipulate markets, or violate securities law.
• API keys are for your own use only — treat them like a password.

6. Intellectual property

ORION's software, scoring methodology, and branding are our property. Reports you generate are yours to use for your own research; the underlying scoring formulas and product remain ours.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

ORION is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Public data sources (ClinicalTrials.gov, SEC EDGAR, FDA disclosures, and market data from Financial Modeling Prep and Yahoo Finance) can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong — see the Methodology Whitepaper for known limitations, including a published negative backtest result. Some market data is served through Yahoo Finance's public quote endpoint, which is not a licensed, SLA-backed market-data feed — ORION uses Financial Modeling Prep as the primary source and falls back to this endpoint only when needed, but price data shown in the product should not be treated as guaranteed real-time, continuously available, or suitable for redistribution. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORION and its operators are not liable for any investment losses, trading decisions, or damages arising from use of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using ORION and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abuse of rate limits or attempts to circumvent tier gating.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The operating entity for ORION Biotech Intelligence is 오리온바이오텍 (orionbiotech), represented by 성지우 (Seong Jiwoo).

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of ORION after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
