CRO BD Research Pilot

$500 USD total · one payment · no renewal

For CRO business development teams investigating sponsor activity in one agreed therapeutic area and geography.

• Review up to 10 companies or programs against agreed inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Two written briefs over 14 days, with sources, dates, relevance, exclusions and unanswered questions.
• One consolidated follow-up round by email.

The service covers the agreed research work. Public activity does not establish buying intent, an available contract or an unmet vendor need. We do not guarantee sales leads, contracts, investment results or revenue.

Price, start date and delivery

The BD research pilot costs $500 USD in total, including any taxes ORION is required to collect for that purchase. Margin Protection design-partner evaluation is separate from the BD research service. There is no recurring charge or mandatory subscription. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion or card fees.

1. Email us about your scope. Do not send confidential documents in your first inquiry.
2. We confirm the included work, required inputs, start date, delivery date and these terms in writing.
3. Once payment is available, payment is requested only on the agreed start date, after the required inputs are ready.
4. We complete delivery within 14 calendar days after payment. Files and follow-up are delivered through the agreed private workspace or email.

If we cannot meet the agreed delivery deadline, you may choose a full refund. We will not charge for a waiting list or an unconfirmed future start date. Any additional scope requires a separate agreement.

Pilot cancellation and refunds

These terms apply to the $500 one-time BD research pilot. They do not replace the separate subscription terms.

• Before payment: cancel the inquiry or proposed pilot at no cost.
• Within 7 calendar days after payment: request a full refund, including if work has started.
• After day 7 and before the 14-day service ends: cancel the remaining service. The refund is the paid amount multiplied by the unprovided portion of the 14-day service. No cancellation penalty is deducted. We provide the calculation in writing.
• Non-delivery: if ORION cannot deliver the agreed service by the deadline, you may request a full refund.
• We initiate approved refunds within 3 business days to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.

CRO Margin Protection · Design partner stage

A working prototype for reviewing protocol amendments, budget assumptions and contract impact. It is not currently offered as a purchasable SaaS product or a $500 proposal-review service.

Discuss evaluation scope, access and data handling individually before sharing documents. A design-partner inquiry creates no payment or subscription. Existing separately agreed engagements retain their written terms.

Separate Starter workspace subscription

The existing Starter workspace is displayed at $29 USD per month. It is separate from the BD research service and Margin Protection prototype. Monthly service periods, renewal, cancellation and subscription refunds are described on the pricing page and in the subscription terms.

Live activation remains unavailable while payment approval is pending. Displaying a USD price does not mean the current domestic billing contract supports USD or foreign cards. The supported payment currency and final checkout total must be confirmed before payments open.
